4 Roads approached Connectus looking to make improvements to their cyber security. They weren’t compliant with Cyber Essentials, which meant that they couldn’t protect themselves against common online security threats.
SocialStack is 4Roads open-source platform which allows brands to build social experiences and allows their customers to plan and tailor a virtual event experience. They needed Connectus’ cyber experts to conduct an exercise to attempt to find and exploit vulnerabilities in the platform. The purpose of this simulated attack is to identify any weak spots in a system’s defences that attackers could take advantage of.
They also had a BYOD approach for all employees and needed a way to protect those devices easily, all under one programme.
Connectus provided a Cyber Essentials Plus certification to defend against accidental, negligent, and malicious attacks, along with complying with the latest complex legislation.
We also rolled out Microsoft Intune company-wide, a cloud-based endpoint management solution. It manages user access and simplifies app and device management across many devices, including mobile devices, desktop computers, and virtual endpoints. This allowed them to protect the BYOD devices that the employees were using all under one app.
Connectus’ team of cyber experts also completed a successful penetration test of their platform SocialStack.
